Who we are & What we do.
The Bismarck Landing is the result of a 5 year effort to build a facility that could serve as headquarters for the Northern Plains Heritage Alliance and the family of organizations that make up that alliance. Designed to emulate the original storehouse that stood very nearby in the 19th century, this was a place that served vessels small and large traversing the Dakota territory in centuries past. This place has been called a multitude of names From The Port of Bismarck to Captain Meriweather's but one thing remains constant: people are drawn to this place, and there is finally a permanent facility fitting of that allure.
